Are you looking for a publication about a specific photographer or photographic subject? Are you looking for photo books? With the help of Fotografiebibliotheek (photography library), you can find out which photography institution has the publication available.
Online library catalog of Fotografiebibliotheek
The Fotografiebibliotheek is a collaboration between various photography institutions in the Netherlands and Belgium. The Nederlands Fotomuseum makes its library catalog available to these institutions to make their collections accessible online in a single location. The goal is to provide an overview of the photography publications from the collections of the affiliated institutions. The institutions are continuously working to expand the library collection with new acquisitions. The catalog is regularly updated with new titles.
The participating institutions are listed at the bottom of the website. New Dutch and Flemish institutions are welcome to join. Smaller institutions can enter their own works in the catalog, while institutions with their own catalog are connected to the Fotografiebibliotheek via a link.

The Fotografiebibliotheek is an online library catalog where you can search for national and international photography publications. This includes monographs, anthologies, exhibition catalogs, articles, journals, and audiovisual materials about photographers and photography. The library catalog is searchable through various portals. On the homepage, the "Simple Search" option allows you to search for results with a query or by clicking on one of the four theme images. The "Advanced Search" or "Expert Search" options allow for more targeted research.
